Easy from Scratch Pizza Crust
Today I am going to share with my easy pizza crust recipe, that is from scratch and toddler approved.
Ingredients
2 cup warm water
1 Tablespoon Active dried or Instant Yeast
1 Tablespoon Sugar
4 cup All Purpose Flour (+1 cup if you are kneading the dough)
1/4 cup of Olive Oil
To make this pizza crust:
Mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar into a bowl. Set to the side for 5 minutes to proof.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
Add your olive oil and the yeast mixture into the flour.
Mix all together.
For a quicker crust, knead dough until smooth, about 10 minutes; and then coat in the dough in olive oil, cover with towel, and sit in a warm location for 1 hour, or until doubled.
For a longer no knead crust, cover the bowl in plastic wrap and place in the fridge overnight or 8-12 hours.
After your crust has risen, dump it out onto a floured surface. Knead the dough for 2 minutes to release some of the air.
Divide into fourths.
Shape each fourth into the shape and thickness you prefer.
Top with sauce and toppings of your choice.
Bake 450 degrees until golden brown.
