There seems to be a common misconception that people who live in their RV are either poor and homeless or they are so rich that they are on a permanent vacation. The problem is, we do not fit these molds. We had a 2,500 sq ft home. We each had good jobs. We weren’t rich, and we did not win the lottery. So, how do we finance our vagabond lifestyle?

When we first got ready to start our RV lifestyle, we ( by we, I mean me) went a little crazy with shopping.
If it was collapsible, stackable, or designed for RV’s I thought I HAD to have it.
After a few months in our RV and a lot of boondocking, I have found some things just do not work for the RV life, while others are perfect for this lifestyle.
A Family Emergency on the Road
Within 5 minutes of vomiting, Marley began to have a seizure. It did not last but 10-15 seconds. However, it was not the only one our young pup experienced on the way to the hospital.
At this point, it felt like the longest car ride in my life.
I was not sure if she would survive until we made it to the hospital. All I could do is watch the time go down on the GPS and pray.
Kenneth was driving as fast as was safe to do so.

When your home is sinking into the mud you do the only logical thing. You chain their truck to your truck, which is hitched to the RV.
