Salmon or Tuna Patties: Southern Fish Patties
Another recipe to help you use up that canned fish you have sitting in the back of your pantry. In this recipe you can use either Salmon or Tuna. I think the flavors are very similar after they are in patty form, and the tuna is cheaper to make.
So, use what you have on hand to cook up this delicious southern fish patty for your family.

Salmon or Tuna Patties
Ingredients
1- 14.5 oz can of Salmon or 3- 5 oz cans of Tuna
2 Tbsp of dehydrated minced onion
1 Tbsp of Lemon Pepper Seasoning
1 Cup of Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup of Olive oil, plus more for frying
1 Tbsp of Garlic Poweder
1 tsp of Paprika
1 tsp of dried dill (optional)
How to make:
Drain can of fish and break apart to make sure no bones were left in the fish.
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
Mold into patties. If the patties do not stick together like play dough, add 1 more Tbsp of Olive oil.
Add oil to a pan and heat on medium heat until hot.
Fry your patties for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Note: there are no uncooked ingredients in this recipe, so you just need your patty crispy and heated through.
Serve up and enjoy!
